Lately Mike and I have been going to a church on Sunday evenings, which means that Sunday mornings are now the perfect opportunity for brunch.

My friend Sarah has not only an amazing sunroom, but also a charming, cozy apartment. My friends and I gathered for a simple Sunday morning feast of pancakes, bacon, raspberry buttermilk cake, and christmas oranges. We chatted, looked at beautiful cookbooks, and I, unsurprisingly, took many photos.

  9. @mackenzie: none are film, all are shot with the mkii. but i see what you mean. it was kind of dark, so the ISO was quite high - which i guess gave some of the photos a grainy, film-esque look :)

  11. These photos basically sum up the one reason I wish our church met in the evening. So I can make omelettes and hum, "Sunday mornin', praise the dawnin'"...
