Lately Mike and I have been going to a church on Sunday evenings, which means that Sunday mornings are now the perfect opportunity for brunch.
My friend Sarah has not only an amazing sunroom, but also a charming, cozy apartment. My friends and I gathered for a simple Sunday morning feast of pancakes, bacon, raspberry buttermilk cake, and christmas oranges. We chatted, looked at beautiful cookbooks, and I, unsurprisingly, took many photos.
we always have brunch on saturday morning + it's my favorite. this looks so wonderful too. so cozy + relaxed!
ReplyDeletethis looks positively lovely. the paper flowers in the door are beautiful. also, my grandma has dishes *Very* similar to those. how cool is that? also, i really love your blog. it's like a journal with untitled entries and the pictures to all the talking. just beautiful. :))

it sounds just lovely! I love the cozy feel to the images. We have church on Sunday evenings as well, so Sunday mornings are casual, lazy, and relaxed, with big breakfasts and pajamas. xo

ReplyDeleteher place really is darling.
ReplyDeletethat cookbook IS a gorgeous one.
ReplyDeleteare some of these film?
looks wonderful. i love looking through cookbooks, especially beautifully photographed ones :)
ReplyDelete@mackenzie: none are film, all are shot with the mkii. but i see what you mean. it was kind of dark, so the ISO was quite high - which i guess gave some of the photos a grainy, film-esque look :)
ReplyDeleteIt looks and sounds wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThese photos basically sum up the one reason I wish our church met in the evening. So I can make omelettes and hum, "Sunday mornin', praise the dawnin'"...
ReplyDeletei LOVE all of the records!
