I'm not a winter gal, but I do love early winter snow falls. It's not too cold and getting all cozy inside still feels like a novelty. A cute beanie and scarf seem like fun fashion accessories rather than absolute necessities in combating frost bite. And we can pump all the Christmas music we want!

  36. First thing I thought when I saw your husband-his hair is so red! Obviously you know this, but I guess I never really noticed it all that much. He kind of looks like Woody Allen. In a good way.
Love your winter pictures though! Looks so pretty with the snow!
Love your beanie and scarf! I need to get me some of those, because it's starting to get cold where I live!

  38. snow is so magical... hoping we can take a trip a few hours north to experience some this season. love these photos.

  39. @alison of limes: I used a Canon 50mm f/1.4 :) 90% of the photos on this blog are shot with that lens!

@Rachael: This is not the first time Mike has gotten the Woody Allen comment :) But I think he's more handsome! (Am I biased?) Also, Mike's hair isn't quite as red as his beard (which has since been shaved since these photos). The hair on his head is quite a bit darker...
