I know photos of succulents are
nothing new, but I happen to like these little guys quite a lot. They're a nice pop of green when I look out at the dreary (and often dark) window. I just hope we don't kill them, as we are sometimes prone to do.
On another note, I started my teaching block yesterday. So last night, I read journal entries, lesson planned & ate skittles. Brain food, you know.
I've just gotten some succulents too and am loving them dearly.Good luck with your new teaching block!
ReplyDeleteLovely (green) photos!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your new teaching block!!!
always love a good photo of succulents. ours died this summer while we were away for two months...it's probably time i replaced them :)
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your new job!
ReplyDeleteAs an aside, I somehow manage to kill even the easiest of house plants, but my succulents have thrived with little to no maintenance! My favourite plant by far
i love those little plants :)
ReplyDeleteSucculents are pretty hard to kill. I know because, even in my relentless (yet failing) pursuit of a green thumb, my cactus is still alive.
ReplyDeleteThese succulents are so pretty!
ReplyDeleteAnd good luck with your teaching placement!
so lovely.
ReplyDeletehi,
ReplyDeletei've just read over a half of your blog and i love this place - your photos and words are so beautiful and inspiring! and you two are such a great married couple! :)
congratulations and best wishes from Poland!
they are lovely little things, aren't they? i have some in my room right now. good thing they're pretty hard to kill. otherwise mine would probably be dead by now. ;)
ReplyDeletei really dig your style.
ReplyDeletesimple. and beautiful.
ps. succulents are practically impossible to kill. very low maintenance. i think you'll be ok.
oh yes, succulents are my favorite plants, partly because they're so hard to kill. I picked some up at ikea, proceeded to accidentally drop them twice and break off some leaves...and they're still going strong. they're little gems of a plant, that's for sure.
ReplyDeletejust catching up on some blog reading and it's official - i love your blog. great photos, love the wedding ones, stunning.
ReplyDeleteSucculents are awesome though, that's why there's so many photos of them! Luckily they're pretty hard to kill. I think that first one of yours is my favorite.
ReplyDeletelove your blog...and I loved going back to your older entries it did my heart some good :)
ReplyDeleteLove that plant! My sister and I want to get some kind of plant(fake probably) or something for our apartment. Love the clover idea!
