This past weekend, Mike and I headed to Busan with nine friends. It was one last big hurrah before the end of the school year craziness descends and some of our friends pack up and leave Korea for good. Bittersweet!

We were last in Busan for the Busan International Film Festival. While the city was packed for the event, the beaches were not. It was totally different this time around. The beaches were teeming with people, but we didn't let that bother us. We grabbed chairs, umbrellas, snacks and lay around reading and chatting for hours.

  5. Oh I can't believe I've never been to Busan (that I remember) even though I've lived here my whole life. The beaches would be fun to enjoy :)

  7. What's with these animal guys? They are equal parts creepy and fascinating. He reminds me of this man who had a bag full of bananas, to attract iguanas, in Ecuador.

I'm loving all of your Asia posts.

  8. Wow that man could tame a bird! What an amazing image to capture. I love birds but if they start floating near me -- I say GO AWAY!

Your photography embodies freedom. So lovely!
