The floating markets of Damneon Saduak are definitely a tourist trap but still manage somehow to be quite pleasant. While we didn't buy any kitsch Thai souvenirs, we definitely liked people watching and marveling over all the food some of these women carted around in their boats.

  1. I've always wanted to go to the floating markets. I can't wait until my children is a bit older so I can bring them there. So lovely.

  3. I've been to the market 10 years ago - back then it was already super touristy, but I enjoyed it nonetheless! Great pictures!!

  7. Sometimes you know you're going to a tourist trap, but some are tourist traps for a reason! :) I really hope I get to see a floating market sometime soon. We're always in Europe for the summers to be with family but I have such wanderlust to go and travel around Asia! Luckily I get to come here! :) ha

  11. This looks so pleasant. I guess sometimes tourist attractions become traps for a reason — if it's a sight to behold, why not go see it?! xo
