My cousin reminded me that I haven't posted lately (hi Kayla!). I realized it was true. I guess I have a bit of the winter and end of term blahs. I've been doing a lot of homework lately, and it's still winter. And do people really want to see another dozen photos of snow?
I took a little break from homework a few days ago and we went out for breakfast. The best part (better than the food, I'd say), was sitting in the sunroom. All that natural light! It did our weary Winnipeg winter souls good.
We then wandered around the shops. I pretended that I wasn't procrastinating, and it ended up feeling a bit like we were tourists visiting Winnipeg.
love these pictures! i'm so glad spring is coming too...i'm a lot more motivated to post now :) xx.

ReplyDeleteOh, this post made me happy, today feels like the first day of spring in my country (I seriously hope we get spring soon!!) I love touristing in a city I've been so much times, and discovering all kinds of things I've never really seen.

ReplyDeletehi caroline! we use a canon 5D mkii. we most often use the 50mm f/1.4, but will sometimes change it up with a 35mm, 85mm, or a 24-70mm.
DeleteGoodness, that waffle looks so good!
ReplyDeleteI know the feeling with winter, I've been forcing myself out of the house- and even though it's nicer out temperature wise here, it's still just not pretty. I always have a lack of motivation until spring finally hits.
Love all the colors in this post.
I love those times when it seems perfect to get away and do something new. It seems this time of year we need it more.

I know exactly what you mean about the end of term blahs! Maybe some waffles and a game of home-town tourist will help in my case too.
ReplyDeleteI love the photos! and if you were to post dozens more of snow, I really wouldn't mind...
the snow is melting so there might not be any more snow pictures after all :)
Deleteeven though you may have a lot of snow, i love all the color you brought with these photos. good luck with terms.
