I have lovely people in my life - friends who knit me scarves and a husband who designed/organized my recipes into a recipe box (quite the upgrade from my haphazard scraps of paper!).
(Note about the recipe box: We had been talking about doing this since we saw Angela's
lovely recipe folder. So even though we had agreed on no presents this Christmas, Mike sneakily bought this vintage recipe box off of ebay and designed me recipe cards. How's a girl supposed to compete with that?!)
now that, is truly precious. when i grow up and get married i so want my hubby to do that for me. :))

Oh how lovely. I have no doubt you are attracting the lovely that you are giving. My husband is the same. I say that I don't need any presents for whatever occasion and he likes to sneak them in on me! He's so lovely. For New Year's Eve I had a beautiful new silk dress which he chose for me so that I could feel pretty. It worked. Happy new year!
