We were in the mood for a picnic, but unfortunately temperatures in Manitoba do not allow for that right now. So we decided to wine (sparkling apple juice) & dine at the plant conservatory instead. It was warm, humid and we were surrounded by lush vegetation - pseudo summer perfection.

We were happily enjoying our tasty little lunch until a security guard told us we had to leave. We'll just have to be more sneaky next time.

More photos available here.

*In regards to the link: I'm always unsure about how many photos to add in a collage. Bigger, longer collages offer more information and details, but I'm afraid they might be boring. Smaller, shorter ones provide less information and detail, but are easier to glance at. Do you have a preference? I've been thinking of keeping the collages shorter, but linking each post to a flickr set with more photos. I would love to know what you think.

and i don't mind super long posts and tons of photos, but i understand the simplicity of just 2-3 photos...so it's a toss up. i've always wanted to do simple-clean posts but i lose control everytime and load up 10+ photos !

  21. why is it with places like this that they want you to come and enjoy it, but not THAT much that picnic-time is off limits. what is that?

  22. Aren't you so excited to see your engagement ring in all of your pictures? That was the most fun thing for me after I got engaged besides everyone knowing we were getting married :)

  23. I love that last shot! I have the same struggle too, usually starting off with more photos for the collage, then gradually removing those that I find so-so. I try as hard as possible to post only the ones I really like and resisting the urge to put everything I've shot in.

  24. Super nice pictures, as always.
I would always select your most favorites and share those on the blog itself, the rest via flickr.
I think in this example the amount of pics in your flickr account, could also made it to the blog :)
hope this helps, have a lovely day, Kristina
