These past few days, Mike and I have popped into quite a few antique/vintage/thrift shops. We have come out empty handed, but the unusual items often prompt interesting conversations. Or in the case of of the toy periscope, we spent about ten minutes taking cool photos with it.

    beautiful, as always. your blog is my favorite. by the way - what lens do you love the most for your canon 5d? i have a canon 5d mk 11 and i want to get a new lens... do you use the L series? let me know :)

    I love places like this and I understand leaving empty handed...sometimes there's just too much to choose from it becomes overwhelming. A fun adventure nevertheless!

    Mike looks fishy in the last photo. Like he is getting caught shoplifting.

    Sometimes while antique shopping, just looking and not buying is the best to avoid heaps of knick knacks and garbage at home.
