last night, last night, my dear friends and i decided to try out a new restaurant - fude. we shared a delectable bunch of appetizers - bruschetta, chili chocolate chicken skewers, toadstool puffs, and a mediterranean dip. mmmm.
one of the most humorous parts of the evening was when my friends convinced me to try the chili chocolate chicken, "oh it's not spicy at all janis!". the first bite was good...and then my eyes started watering and my mouth started burning. sigh. i further cemented my reputation as the biggest spice wimp. oh well...
oh i love the feet of my dancing friends!
here's a little random video sarah took of our conversation {the topic being la vie en rose}...
hope you all had a lovely weekend!

ReplyDeleteI think I may have you beat in the spice-wimp category! I can't handle it at all! We've been to Fude before with Uncle John - I guess you weren't around?!?! It was when Xavier was little, so I think you were still in Africa. Another one of those not-so-child-friendly restaurants, but the food was good. Glad you guys had fun!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely HATE spicy foods.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I just stumbled across your blog. Is your blog title from a book quote? It's used in a book I own.
