dinner at oddfellows.
My last west coast post and my favourite for two reasons. Reason number one: just look at this place. Funky, eclectic magnificence. Incredible attention to detail abounded at every turn - the cash register, the antiques scattered across the restaurant, the citrus wedges at the bar, the place settings, and the fresh flowers everywhere.
Mike and I talked about how neat it would be to decorate and design a place like this - similar to decorating and designing a wedding but more permanent (and while it seems unimaginable to me right now, it would be way more work!). Hats off to whoever decorated this place.
Reason number two: We had a blogger meet-up at this restaurant (my first)! We grabbed some supper with
Julia and Yuriy of
Mr and Mrs Globetrot. I was very nervous beforehand - it honestly felt like a first date. But I felt comfortable instantly - they were so sweet and funny. We all had heaps to talk about between traveling, photography, and weddings. We liked them so much! It's highly unfortunate that we don't even live in the same country.

Thanks for sticking through all these west coast posts (and for being so complimentary!). Life got so crazy right after we came back, so it took me a bit longer to get through them than I anticipated. I don't say it often enough, but thank you so much for reading & for continually sending sweetness my way.
xoxo
