so i don't get to see these little cousins very often.
but when i was out on the west coast this summer,
i was able to spend a lovely day with them on the farm!
i acted like a five year old all day long
as i tagged along with them to their swimming lessons at the crack of dawn,
played with kitties,
did gymnastics in the hallway,
jumped on the trampoline,
looked at scrapbooks,
and perhaps most importantly,
got my hair done by six year old emily.
i mentioned that it might be hard to pin up my hair since it was so short,
to which she replied,
"oh not excessively!"
this week has certainly been excessively busy,
so i sure would love to have another five year old play date with them.
anyone care to buy me a plane ticket to abbotsford, bc?
xo

Hehe. Such darling photos... and my week has been excessively busy too! I can't believe it's already (almost) Friday.
ReplyDeleteHaha that's adorable! I love when kid's come out with big words. My Mum's friends' daughter at 5 years old always used to roll her eyes and say "You're so padictable (predictable)" - loved it!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean. When i am with younger kids from both side of fam, i am totally like a 3. And it makes me happy.
ReplyDeleteMan, there's nothing like six-year-old hairdos!

hahaah emily sounds amazing. i loved it when my cousins were little and with their little fingers they styled my hair in some weird 80s-like hairdo and then looked at their masterpiece with pride.
