Kauai is my fave by far but maui is very lovely. I loved Sansei sushi on Maui, and you should head up to honolua bay for a stunning view at sunset as well to join the gallery watching the locals shred below (longest right ever!). Try to get up to paia for a bit of hippiedom. Mama's fish house is over-rated - i wouldn't do it. Make sure you grab a plate lunch somewhere. Aloha mixed grill is nice. you can see my post on my last trip to maui here

http://abeautifullife.ca/2011/03/20/hello-again-maui/Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7404702649869033441.post-18717021023547828392011-05-06T05:39:14.498-05:002011-05-06T05:39:14.498-05:00i would be deliriously excited too. hopefully it ...i would be deliriously excited too. hopefully it just looks like the postcard :)Jenni Austria Germanyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04300480531614136453noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7404702649869033441.post-30319951574114997082011-05-03T23:24:45.862-05:002011-05-03T23:24:45.862-05:00CONGRATS FROM YOUR HONEY MOON!CONGRATS FROM YOUR HONEY MOON!Olivillahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05505841647419756146noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7404702649869033441.post-61614601782094669902011-05-03T19:59:19.231-05:002011-05-03T19:59:19.231-05:00Road to Hana = on my life list. I suggest driving it in a rented convertible. My family and I went in a touring van, which was super fun, but seeing all the convertibles passing us made me promise myself I'd revisit and do the road to Hana in a convertible (I'm sorry, I don't know how costly it is to do that but maybe you could find it on a website somewhere..?). Also on the road to Hana, I suggest stopping by at a few of the food tables/vendors the locals set up with homemade goodies; such as peanut brittle and banana bread. Another thing you sould do (if you dont mind heights) is zip lining through the forests. Then there was this one tour that took us kayaking down an inland river, through a forest, and finally to swim in a waterfall. Swimming in the waterfall was one of my favorite parts of the trip, so I hgighly suggest it; it's an incredible experience. Oh! And helicopter tours are insane! (Again, if you don't mind the height.) My family and I did two different ones. One took us over top of the active volcano where we saw the lava flowing across the land and into the ocean (we visited Hawaii this past July). The other took us over forests and we saw many waterfalls, the coastline, mountains, etc. Other things yall might enjoy might be visiting the black sand beaches (there are some along the road to Hana), surf lessons (I don't know if that's a honeymoon thing to do but I'm 15 and enjoyed that haha), hula dancing, sunset cruise, hiking around some extinct volcanoes, and snorkeling (Hawaii has great snorkeling). My last suggestion is to eat a lot of fresh fruit (like from the fruit stands which you'll easliy be able to find all around but especially on the North Shore and along the road to Hana). I'm a big fan of fresh fruit, and Hawaii has plenty of it. So if you like food/fruit then try the dragonfruit, papaya, coconuts (at fruit stands with signs that say "fresh coconuts", they have boxes of whole coconuts which you pick yours from. Then they'll split it right there for you, open it up and give you a straw for the juice and a spoon for the "meat". Even though I wasn't too keen on the coconut, it was an awesome experience.), pineapples, and the many other tropical fruit that you might not find many other places.
Sorry for such a long comment, but I hope this helps yall with ideas on what to do! Also, sorry for any miss-spellings!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7404702649869033441.post-24864071490646467372011-04-27T18:31:44.967-05:002011-04-27T18:31:44.967-05:00So fun and great choice!!! I have been to the Big Island, Maui, and Oahu; Maui is my favorite island because there is a mix of relaxation and nightlife. There is so much to do in Lahaina! I will be honeymooning in Maui June 27-July 5 :) Check out www.gohawaii.com for extra info :) Looking forward to seeing photos! -JennyJennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05840946681932984465noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7404702649869033441.post-35722969104088007252011-04-27T13:40:45.265-05:002011-04-27T13:40:45.265-05:00i cant wait to see your pictures - they will be fa...i cant wait to see your pictures - they will be fabulous!Laurenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17507993628793504805noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7404702649869033441.post-57463544699807493342011-04-27T13:21:24.174-05:002011-04-27T13:21:24.174-05:00I've never been but i've heard that Hawaii...I've never been but i've heard that Hawaii is a place straight out of your dreams with the mountains and the ocean. All of the Northshore is amazing. Don't spend too much time in Waikiki as it's full of over priced tourist traps. Great for 2 days max! You tire of all of the people. The best beach is on the east side in Kailua. The water is so clear. Look up Stairway to Heaven, it's one of the best hikes you'll ever do. It says its closed down and it looks quite eerie but it is amazing!!! I could ramble on for hours so I'll stop now. yaaaaay Hawaii!Jenna Ehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01773702488996098163noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7404702649869033441.post-45777176415615124922011-04-26T20:15:12.135-05:002011-04-26T20:15:12.135-05:00@Amanada: We're going to be there August 8th -...@Amanada: We're going to be there August 8th - August 23rd!

@Carolyne: We'd love to hear those secret spots!janishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00768866530748861670noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7404702649869033441.post-19389158619609431922011-04-26T14:10:34.680-05:002011-04-26T14:10:34.680-05:00That is nice!
